About Kazuyoshi Sudo

Mr. Sudo graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Economics, Tokyo, Japan, with a BA degree, and joined CBC Co., Ltd. (formally called Chugai Boyeki Co., Ltd.), Tokyo, in 1966. Mr. Sudo started to work for CBC (America) Corp. (formally called Chugai Boyeki (America) Corp.), NY, a wholly owned subsidiary of CBC Co., Ltd. in the USA, from 1981.

Mr. Sudo served as CEO of CBC (America) Corp. from 1996 to 2001 and on the board of directors of CBC Co., Ltd. from 1997 to 2001.

Mr. Sudo served on the board of directors of Vicon Industries Inc., NY, engaged in design, manufacturing, and production of CCTV systems for use in security, safety, surveillance, and communication application, from 1987 to 2003. Mr. Sudo served on the board of directors of Afferent Corp., RI, pioneering the development of a new class of medical devices to treat chronic neurological dysfunction, from 2007 to 2008.

After Mr. Sudo founded Toyo Management Inc., in 2001, he entered into a consulting agreement with Nitta Corp., Osaka, Japan. In 2004, Mr. Sudo arranged to establish a joint venture between Nitta and FONS Corp., MA, which was later acquired by ADC Telecommunication Inc., MN, in 2005, for manufacturing splitter cassettes in Hangzhou, China. The joint venture is now operated by Nitta and ADC and is manufacturing splitter cassettes in Hangzhou solely for ADC. Nitta started to manufacture PLC optical splitters for the Japanese market in 2006 and started to market it, in compliance with Telcordia GR 1221 and 1209, outside of Japan from 2008.

Toyo Management Inc. filed its DBA/Assumed Names for Seikou Optical Sales Co. in 2002 and TMI Optics Sales Co., in 2008 with the State of New York. TMI Optics Sales Co. is solely dedicated for the sales of fiber-optic products manufactured by Nitta Corp.
