The splitter product family includes extremely low insertion loss, the use of bend-insensitive fiber (bend radius 15-mm), and small packaging size — for example for a 1x32 splitter, the package is 50x7x4mm. NITTA's splitters have been used extensively in Japanese FTTH projects and have passed Telecordia GR 1221 and 1209 for Verizon and AT&T qualification.
